SIDREA (Società Italiana dei Docenti di Ragioneria e di Economia Aziendale) SIDREA is the Italian Society of Accounting and Business Administration Scholars, promoting rigorous research in accounting, auditing, public sector accounting, and management control systems. The SIDREA National Conference typically takes place in September each year. The society also organizes specialized workshops and thematic meetings throughout the year, including sessions focused on public value accounting, sustainability reporting, and digital transformation in accounting practices. Organized in partnership with leading Italian universities, the workshop provides a developmental forum where doctoral students and early-career researchers present their work and receive feedback from senior scholars and journal editors. The XII Workshop was held at Sapienza University of Rome (June 12-13, 2025) in collaboration with Tor Vergata, focusing on "Public Administration in the Digital Era: Emerging Technologies, Social Impact, and Sustainability."
