Delivered study plan 2023/2024

The teaching activity of the Doctoral Program is structured into two complementary blocks, distinct from the teaching offerings of the Bachelor's and Master's degree courses. In particular, the planned teaching activity of the PhD consists of:

  1. Research Methodology Course, intended for first-year PhD students, which provides the foundation for designing and conducting methodologically sound studies.
  2. Special Lectures for each of the three curricula (BMA, PMG, B&F), which delve into advanced topics and ensure quick engagement with the frontier of research and the demands of professional contexts.

Research Methodology Course (126 hours)
The course is designed to guide PhD students in the development of their individual projects, introducing quantitative and qualitative methods, data analysis techniques, and strategies for scientific communication. Each module concludes with practical exercises or oral presentations.

Special Lectures per Curriculum

Starting from the second year, each curriculum offers a series of thematic lectures (seminars, workshops, and project work) aimed at developing frontier knowledge and engaging with real-world cases, thus expanding specialized operational skills.

The special lectures include the development of concrete applications by the PhD students (presentations, exercises, etc.), both individually and in groups. The instructor provides an initial evaluation. Additionally, PhD students are required to submit a semester report to assess their ability to apply the concepts learned.
