This webinar will present new data from the A5383 (Randomized, Controlled Trial to Evaluate the Anti-inflammatory Efficacy of Letermovir [Prevymis] in Adults With HIV-1 and Asymptomatic Cytomegalovirus [CMV] Who Are on Suppressive Antiretroviral Therapy and Its Effect on Chronic Inflammation, HIV Persistence, and Other Clinical Outcomes [ELICIT]) trial on letermovir therapy and its effects on immune activation, CD4+ cell recovery, and functional aging in people with HIV. Attendees will gain insights into how targeting CMV may provide a novel avenue to improve long term health outcomes in populations undergoing HIV treatment.
