Educational goals and objectives

ECONOMICS AND FINANCE The PhD program in Economics and Finance, taught in English, is a four-year program aimed at training highly qualified researchers in the fields of macroeconomics, microeconomics, econometrics, and finance. The program is dedicated to highly ambitious students who are strongly motivated to push forward the frontier of knowledge in the economic and financial world.

During the first year, students are exposed to models and methods for economic analysis, acquiring the methodological rigor necessary to address the complexity of economic systems. The program activities cover the equivalent of sixty academic credits carried out by faculty members of the college and internationally recognized experts.

In the following three years, students focus on their own research. The program is organized by a department of excellence, which provides cutting-edge computing resources and a rich exchange program and Visiting Professors.
