On February 10, 2026, the Department of Chemical Sciences and Technologies once again takes part in the Global Women’s Breakfast (GWB), the international initiative promoted by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) to encourage discussion on the role of women in science and on the value of diversity, equity, and gender inclusion in scientific careers.
For this year’s edition, our Department promoted the initiative by actively involving other Departments within the Macroarea of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences, which joined and collaborated in developing the program. The shared goal is to broaden dialogue and foster interdisciplinary exchange, in line with this year’s theme: “Many Voices, One Science.”
The event is part of the activities organized by the Macroarea of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences for the 3rd National STEM Week, scheduled from February 4 to 11, 2026.
