Silvia Cervi is currently a PhD student at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, in the Department of Management and Law, for the track Business Management and Accounting (XXXVIII cycle). Born in Rome in 1995, Silvia obtained a Bachelor's degree (2017) and a Master's degree (2019) in Economics and Management cum laude at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Subsequently, she undertakes a professional experience in the Finance sector: first in the M&A team of an Italian investment bank (based in Milan) and then in the Restructuring team of a consulting firm (based in Rome). Thanks to these experiences, she acquires technical skills related to extraordinary finance transactions and corporate crisis. Subsequently, enthusiastic to enrich and strengthen her skills in economic-financial subjects, Silvia decided to embark on the Ph.D. path, with the aim of contributing to the development of the academic and corporate world through research on corporate governance and financial statement analysis. Silvia's research interests range from the economics and finance of corporate groups to governance, from corporate finality to statutory and consolidated financial statements.
