Original contributions made concern Developmental and Reproductive Biology, Reproductive Endocrinology. Prof. Grimaldi has produced the following original lines of research for which she is cited in the international scientific community and which characterize her scientific profile:
1. Characterization of hormone-dependent gene expression in the Sertoli cell.
2. Characterization of extrinsic to intrinsic factors that determine differentiation and entry into meiosis in male germ cells.
3. Characterization and role of the endocannabinoid system in male and female reproduction and the nervous system.
4. Role of cannabinoid-induced epigenetic modifications in germ cells.
