I was born in Puglia in 1978 and took a Master Degree in Physics in 2001 at the University of Rome La Sapienza under the supervision of Prof. Nicola Cabibbo. I got a Ph.D in Physics in 2005 at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" under the supervision of Prof. Roberto Petronzio.
After the Ph.D I have been first fellow and then non-permanent researcher at the INFN; subsequently I became permanent researcher and then, from 2017 until now, associate professor at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". I also spent a period at CERN as associate scientist.
In my research activity I studied the theory and the phenomenology of fundamental interactions and also some biological systems of medical relevance. I gave important contributions to the study of strong interactions by using non-perturbative lattice QCD simulations.
