MAIN SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS

Current scientific interests in the field of psychophysiology and cognitive neuroscience are addressed to the clinical application of EEG recording as a tool for investigation of pathophysiology of brain connectivity in the mental disorders (mainly psychosis, autism, and trauma-related disorders), as well as, for examination of neurophysiological changes induced by psychopharmacological, psychotherapeutic, electromagnetic brain stimulation and rehabilitative treatments.

2008- MIUR, PRIN – Studio del rischio di suicidio in pazienti psichiatrici ricoverati e successivo follow-up per valutarel'impatto delle procedure adottate perla riduzione del rischio di suicidio, in soggetti caratterizzati con variabili psicopatologiche, personologiche, neurofisiologiche, dell’aderenza al trattamento e delle esperienze traumatiche precoci, comparando i differenti disturbi psichiatrici e, nelle donne, le varie fasi del loro ciclo vitale(età riproduttiva, postpartum, menopausa).
