Dr. Daniele Almonti is currently a fixed-term researcher (Type A) at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", in the scientific sector IIND04/A.

In 2018, he obtained a Ph.D. in Industrial Design and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", with a dissertation titled “Identification and Optimization of Process Parameters in the Application of Graphene Layers”, utilizing various CAD, CAM, and FEM software for industrial design. His research included the study and simulation of graphene layers for thermal exchange applications.

In 2015, he passed the state examination for professional engineering qualification at the University of L'Aquila.

In the same year (2015), he earned a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of L'Aquila and obtained the CLAD LABVIEW certification, specializing in the management of measurement instruments and quality control using LABVIEW software.

In 2011, he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of L'Aquila.

In 2021, he was awarded a Second-Level Research Fellowship for the program "Implementation of Industry 4.0 for Enterprises and Public Institutions" (MISE – DGPIPMI – European School of Industrial Engineering and Management) in the scientific sectors ING-IND/16 and ING-IND/35, at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".

In the same year (2021), he was assigned a teaching position for online courses on the topic "Modeling and Simulation for Production".

Also, in 2021, he was awarded a contract for occasional professional services related to the PON BIOLINE project – Modified Biopolymers for the Development of an Innovative Product Line at the University of Roma Tre.

That same year (2021), he won an occasional self-employment contract at the University of Tuscia, for the development of teaching materials in English for the Master’s Degree Course in Mechanical Engineering (LM-33), subject: Technologies for Additive Manufacturing (SSD ING-IND/22, 6 CFU), with a total of 12 recorded lecture hours.

In 2020, he was awarded a First-Level Research Fellowship for the program "Enterprise Lazio and Sardegna (ELSE)", in the scientific sectors ING-IND/16 and ING-IND/35, at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".

In the same year (2020), he received a postgraduate scholarship on the topic "Innovation and Technology Transfer", at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".

In 2019, he won a contract for occasional professional services related to the “Optimization of the extrusion process for flat-head and bubble bioplastic films suitable for coupling with stretched and corrugated covers”, as part of the PON BIOLINE project, at the University of Roma Tre.

Also, in 2019, he was awarded a First-Level Research Fellowship for the project "Advanced Machine for Surface Finishing of Components Produced with Additive Layer Manufacturing (MataMAT)", in the scientific sector ING-IND/16, at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".

In 2018, he won a contract for occasional professional services for the “Study of the co-extrusion process of plastic and paper”, related to the SADA PACKAGING project, at the University of Roma Tre.
