Prof. Ana Tavares is a Full Professor at the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS), Varennes, Canada. She obtained her Diploma in Chemistry and her Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry (Electrochemistry) from the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon, Portugal. Her research focuses on the development of electrocatalysts and electrode materials for fuel cells, electrolyzes and electrochemical sensors. Prof. Tavares has extensive experience in the synthesis and characterization of oxide-based electrocatalysts and graphene-based materials, as well as physicochemical characterization of non-fluorinated ion conducting membranes. She has co-authored over 90 publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals indexed in ISI Web of Science and Scopus, reflecting her significant contributions and leadership in the field of electrochemical energy conversion and materials science.
